Created by Mariana, each work in The Ferne Atelier emerges from a tension between logic and feeling, structure and surrender.

I am a technologist by day and a mother of two. I paint in the in-between moments, when the house is quiet and the pace of everything else finally slows.

The work begins without a plan. It builds through texture, hesitation, and return. What appears abstract often starts from something very personal, shaped by experiences I do not always know how to explain, but still carry.

Painting is where I allow myself not to solve anything.

It is where I listen instead.
