A layered landscape of movement, memory, and belonging.
Where Now began as a quiet reflection on movement, companionship, and the places we carry with us. The piece was inspired by a traveler, her daughter, and the life they were moving through together.
Across the surface, layered blues, whites, earth tones, and gold create the feeling of a landscape seen from memory rather than from one fixed place. Three birds appear within the work, small but present — suggesting connection, direction, and the tenderness of moving through life with others. A small bear reaches up from below, watching them.
Built through many layers of texture, the piece holds the feeling of land, water, sky, and distance. It is a painting about motion, and about the question that follows every arrival.
A piece for those who carry their home with them.
